How does NetAid Train Leaders?

Each year, NetAid trains GCC Leaders both in-person and online. The GCC Training includes:

  • Substantive Learning about the root causes of poverty and the promise of sustainable development
  • Skill-Development in leadership, media outreach, fundraising, action planning and campaigning

Summer Summit

Each summer a select group of GCC Leaders are invited to attend the Summer Summit in New York City.  The Summit gives Leaders the opportunity to meet like-minded students from across the country, interact with experts in the field, and develop their skills to make poverty history.

Online Training

GCC Leaders  who do not attend the Summer Summit receive their training through a series of multi-media eTraining courses in the Online Action Center. These modules use case-studies and interactivity to prepare students to lead informed and effective Global Action Days.

As GCC leaders, we are uniting to join in the struggle to end global poverty. We are proving that actions speak louder than words.
- Saptarshi, GCC Leader
