One in every six children worldwide do not have access to primary education, and many more start school but do not finish, preventing them from learning the most basic life skills they need. Education is one of the most powerful tools we have to fight global poverty. But we need your help to get all children in school.

- Use this Access to Education lesson plan in your classroom to explore issues related to global education.
- Use our Action Planning lessons to provide more in-depth lessons for students already familiar with global poverty and access to education.

Global Citizens Corps: a NetAid program that gives young leaders in the U.S. the training and resources they need to raise awareness and take action in the fight against poverty.
Global Action Awards: an awards program that honors 14-18 year olds who are taking outstanding actions to fight global poverty. Honorees earn $5,000 for higher education or a charitable cause of their choice! |
