Global Health

Each day, 6,000 people die from HIV/AIDS. Every 30 seconds, an African child dies of malaria. The vast majority of these deaths are preventable. While the political will is beginning to coalesce to confront the ravages of HIV/AIDS, malaria and TB, more public pressure needs to be applied to turn initial successes into long-term change.
