Saiful Bhuiyan

Saiful Bhuiyan worked with NetAid as a Network Supports Intern from August to December 2005, when he became the full-time Systems Administrator.  In this role, Saiful oversees all the technology systems at NetAid.

Saiful's childhood dream was to become an Electrical Engineer, but while he was in high school he became interested in Computer Engineering.  He received a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from The City College of New York, and is planning to do his Master's in Electrical Engineering.

While pursuing his undergraduate degree, Saiful's internships included Computer Network Assistance, and Desktop Support with the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, and City College Computer Lab.  He also worked as Computer Lab Technician at City College.

Additionally, during his time at City College, Saiful was involved with several student organizations and clubs, the student government and the soccer team.  Saiful was also a mentor leader for senior high school students and incoming college students.  Saiful is always thinking of new ways to get involved in helping other people, and his community; he was involved in fundraising for Tsunami relief, and to build new mosques after Hurricane Katrina.

When he is not working, Saiful is passionate about travel and outdoor exploration.  His favorite sport is to play soccer, and in addition to sports, he enjoys biking, hiking, roller blading, swimming, karate, and sitting down in front of his computer to do research.
